Capacity: 68,013
Opened: 2012
Location: Stratford, East London
The London Stadium, which became West Ham's home in 2016, stands majestically in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on site where the world watched Usain Bolt make history. With a capacity of 60,000, it's one of the most modern football
venues on the planet, yet it carries the weight of both Olympic legacy and 130 years of Hammers heritage. The bowl-shaped arena, originally built for the 2012 Olympics, may lack the intimacy of the beloved Boleyn Ground, but when 60,000
voices unite for "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" and soap bubbles fill the London sky, magic still happens.
West Ham United, born from the Thames Ironworks in 1895, have always been the people's club of East London. This is the team that gave England its World Cup-winning spine – Bobby Moore lifting the trophy as captain, Geoff Hurst scoring
a hat-trick in the final, and Martin Peters adding the crucial third goal. They were the Academy of Football before academies existed, nurturing talent like Billy Bonds, Trevor Brooking, and continuing that tradition today. The move from Upton Park was painful, but the London Stadium represents ambition – hosting major concerts,
international athletics, and even MLB baseball games. Yet on matchdays, when the crowd roars "Come On You Irons" and the bubbles cascade from the roof, it belongs entirely to the Hammers and their loyal supporters.
● West Ham United was founded in 1895 as Thames Ironworks FC by workers from the Thames Ironworks and Shipbuilding Company, making them one of only a few clubs with genuine working-class industrial roots still visible in
their identity today.
● The Hammers played in the very first FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium in 1923, losing 2-0 to Bolton Wanderers in the famous "White Horse Final" where an estimated 240,000 people crowded into the new stadium.
● West Ham are the only club in football history to provide three players to a World Cup-winning team. Bobby Moore (captain), Geoff Hurst (hat-trick scorer), and Martin Peters all started for England in the 1966 World Cup final victory.
● The club ended a 43-year major trophy drought by winning the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2023, defeating Fiorentina 2-1 in Prague with Jarrod Bowen's 90th-minute winner - their first European trophy in 58 years.
● Upton Park (the Boleyn Ground) was West Ham's home for 112 years from 1904 to 2016, one of the longest continuous stadium tenancies in English football history before the move to London Stadium.
● West Ham are one of only eight clubs never to have fallen below the second tier of English football, spending 66 of their 98+ league seasons in the top flight.
● In 2023, West Ham played 59 competitive matches and won 32 - the second-highest number of victories in a calendar year in the club's 130+ year history (behind only 1981).
● The club's European Conference League triumph included an English record 17-game unbeaten run in European competition, with the team winning 11 out of 13 ties across eight different countries.
● Celebrity fans include actors Ray Winstone and Danny Dyer, while even former US President Barack Obama has expressed support for the Hammers during his visits to London.
● The infamous 2006/07 "Great Escape" saw West Ham avoid relegation from the Premier League despite being bottom with just 7 games left, inspired by Carlos Tevez's seven goals in the final matches.
● London Stadium hosts multiple sports: West Ham football, Major League Baseball London Series games, world athletics championships, and major concerts - making it one of the most versatile venues globally.
● The club's 2016 move to London Stadium increased capacity from 35,000 at Upton Park to 60,000, nearly doubling their potential matchday attendance and transforming their commercial possibilities.
● Billy Bonds holds West Ham's all-time appearance record with an incredible 799 first-team games across 21 seasons (1967-1988), a record that may never be broken in modern football.

Visiting supporters at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are usually housed in the northeast corner of the ground, spanning levels one to three. The standard allocation for Premier League fixtures is around 3,000 tickets, though this can rise to more than 5,000 for cup ties depending on demand and competition rules.
The facilities for away fans are among the best in the league, with wide concourses, clear sightlines from every seat, and plenty of bars and food outlets offering a good variety of options. Spurs’ stadium even has its own in-house brewery, ensuring fresh beer on tap throughout matchdays.
While the space is modern and comfortable, concourses can still feel busy at peak times, so arriving early is advised to enjoy the build-up and take in the atmosphere before kick-off.
